Hi, I'm Rose

 I'm so happy you're here!  I'm Rose Austra, a color analyst and beauty expert serving the Westlake View neighborhood of Chicago.

As a woman in my 40s, I know what it's like when things start to shift . What used to work doesn't anymore, and figuring out what comes next can feel overwhelming. I've been through it myself, and I know how much it means to have someone in your corner who truly gets it. That's the experience I want you to have when you work with me.

I've been in the beauty industry for over 25 years and honestly, I feel like I'm just getting started. My experience spans the salon, film, print, and bridal work , all of which has shaped the way I see color and style today. Now I get to bring all of that together by offering hair services through the lens of color analysis, making getting ready feel fun and exciting again.

What makes me different is my approach. Everything I do starts with understanding you,  your natural undertones, what brings out your best features, and what's going to make you look and feel amazing whether you're getting ready for a regular Tuesday or something special. I'm always learning and staying current so I can filter through the noise and bring you only what's actually going to work for you. This isn't one size fits all, it's completely personalized, and that doesn't end when you leave the chair.

When I'm not behind the chair, you'll probably find me in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe, and if you ever need a spice blend recommendation, I'm your girl. I'm someone who genuinely enjoys a cozy night in with a great show and values my downtime just as much as my creative time. I'd love to get to know you beyond the chair too, some of my favorite moments are the conversations that happen during an appointment.
